Iceburg Studio
What the game stores, what it doesn’t, and which companies other than us see anything at all.
Planet Hopper has no accounts and no servers of ours. Your progress lives on your own device and nowhere else. We never receive it. The only parties who see anything are Google, if you watch an optional ad, and Apple, if you use Game Center or buy something — and both of those are yours to switch off.
Planet Hopper is made by Iceburg Studio, an independent developer. “We” and “us” below mean Iceburg Studio; “the game” means the Planet Hopper iOS app. You can reach us at iceburgstudio.dev@gmail.com.
The game saves your progress locally, using iOS’s standard app storage. It never leaves your phone, we cannot read it, and it is not backed up to any service of ours. That includes:
Deleting the game deletes all of it. There is no copy anywhere else to ask us to erase.
Nothing. We run no servers, no analytics, and no crash reporting of our own. We do not know your name, your email, your location, or that you play the game at all. There is no account to create and nothing to sign in to.
Three companies are involved in parts of the game. None of them report back to us about you as an individual.

Ads in Planet Hopper are always optional and always rewarded — you are offered one in exchange for something, and declining costs you nothing but the reward. There are no banners and no ads you cannot skip past by simply not tapping.
Before any ad loads, iOS asks whether the game may track you across other companies’ apps and websites. If you say no, Google does not use your advertising identifier for tracking, and you will see non-personalised ads instead. You can change that answer at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking on your device.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you are also shown a consent form, provided through Google’s User Messaging Platform, before ads are personalised.

Planet Hopper is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them — we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone. If you believe a child has provided information to a third party through this game, contact us and we will help you take it up with the service concerned.
If you are covered by the GDPR, the UK GDPR, or the CCPA, you have rights of access, correction, deletion, and objection over personal data held about you. Because we hold none, there is nothing on our side to produce or erase — direct those requests to Google or Apple, whichever applies. We will help you work out which if you write to us. We do not sell or share personal information, and we never have.
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app’s update notes. This page is the current version.
